Judicial Branch of the Crow Tribe - Apsáalooke Nation

Under the 2001 Constitution, the Judicial Branch consists of all courts established by the Crow Law and Order Code.  Title 3 of the Crow Tribal Law and Order Code, recently revised, establishes the various courts of the Crow Tribe and sets requirements for judgeships, clerks and the prosecutor. Currently the Crow Tribal Court is funded in part by a Public Law 638 Contract that requires compliance with Code of Federal Regulations provisions. Contract compliance insures that CFR standards are met.
